The shape of our new ALEVUM series deliberately focuses on a clear, rectangular geometry. The straight lines give the Sink a calm, timeless appearance and emphasize the focus on the essentials. The design is based on a no-nonsense, functional design language that is appreciated by many people in modern working and living environments. In combination with the material Stainless steel (chrome steel), a harmonious overall picture is created that conveys value, precision and durability. ALEVUM combines minimalist design with high everyday practicality and becomes a simple yet stylish component in utility, technical or functional rooms.

Especially in modern houses and apartments, ALEVUM offers a well thought-out solution for daily, light cleaning tasks. Nowadays, utility and ancillary rooms are increasingly being planned and designed as fully-fledged work areas. A basin like ALEVUM supports this claim with its clear design language and functional orientation. Our new ALEVUM series is available in four specially defined bowl sizes. From the smallest size ALEVUM 45 to the largest ALEVUM 105, there is the right everyday sink for every requirement. The smaller versions are compact and fit perfectly into smaller spaces. They are particularly suitable for smaller Utility Rooms, garages or workshops where every centimeter has to be used consciously. Despite their more compact dimensions, they retain the same depth and industrial effect as the larger models. This never gives the impression of a “slimmed-down” version.

The larger versions offer even more space for larger cleaning tasks. It is interesting to note that the proportions of the larger sinks remain very balanced. Many large Utility Sinks quickly appear bulky or technically overloaded. With the ALEVUM, the shape remains surprisingly clear despite the larger volume. The straight lines prevent the basin from appearing heavy or massive. Instead, the result is a calm, functional spaciousness.

Another important difference in the ALEVUM series is the material. While the other series from KUNe rely on chrome-nickel steel, ALEVUM deliberately uses chrome steel. This decision not only changes the price, but also the character of the basin.

Chrome-nickel steel is often used where maximum corrosion resistance is required. The material is used in professional kitchens, workshops, industry, Agriculture, outdoor areas or design-oriented living areas. The ALEVUM chrome steel, on the other hand, follows a different idea. The series remains consistently reduced to the essentials: clear function, robust workmanship and an honest materiality without decorative staging. It is important to note that we do not recommend chrome steel for outdoor use or for heavy cleaning work. For these applications, our SOLIDUM series or the NOVUM series remain the right choice!

At the same time, stainless steel naturally remains stainless steel: Hygienic, durable, easy to clean and significantly more resistant than many plastic solutions. Stainless steel is particularly suitable for a Utility Sink that comes into contact with water, dirt, tools or cleaning agents on a daily basis. You could say that the other series are Stainless steel sinks for sophisticated interiors or exteriors, while ALEVUM is a deliberately minimalist sink for indoor use.

The ALEVUM series also differs in terms of its possible applications. Unlike the more corrosion-resistant and even more versatile SOLIDUM or NOVUM models, ALEVUM was deliberately designed for indoor use. The basin range is primarily aimed at people looking for a solution for simple cleaning and everyday tasks in the Utility Room, basement or garage. This is where the reduced form really comes into its own: different usable volumes, easy-care Stainless steel and uncomplicated functionality reduced to the essentials.

Unlike SOLIDUM or NOVUM, however, ALEVUM is not intended as a universal outdoor or for demanding cleaning tasks in industry, Agriculture or the discerning household. The series deliberately focuses on classic indoor areas and normal cleaning work in the home.

The series is particularly suitable for everyday work such as:

the cleaning of cleaning buckets and wiping systems,
the washing out of rags and cleaning cloths,
cleaning garden shoes or rubber boots,
filling buckets or watering cans,
cleaning small tools,
the rinsing of paint rollers or brushes,
washing soiled household and hobby items,
or general cleaning work in the housekeeping area.

The ALEVUM series is also deliberately positioned differently to SOLIDUM or NOVUM in terms of price. Thanks to the reduced design and the use of chrome steel instead of chrome nickel steel, the sink remains significantly cheaper without sacrificing the basic advantages of a stainless steel Utility Sink. This is precisely what makes ALEVUM interesting for anyone looking for a practical, durable solution that is suitable for everyday use, but does not require oversized professional equipment. ALEVUM does its job reliably, is of a much higher quality than many plastic alternatives and remains pleasantly simple, both visually and economically.
