In order to choose the right tap, it is important to know about the different types of taps and their required connections. A basic distinction can be made between 3 types of tap:
High-pressure tap: High-pressure taps are also referred to synonymously as pressure-resistant taps. If you want to install them, you need a cold and hot water connection, which is usually the case. The tap can be connected directly. Our Klarco taps on offer are just the thing for you!
Low-pressure tap: Low-pressure taps are also referred to synonymously as pressureless taps. If you want to install them, you have a cold water connection and an additional small storage tank for producing hot water.
Cold water tap: Cold water taps are installed when only cold water is available. If you want to install them, you do not need hot water and can dispense with the mixing function and temperature control.
Taps are used every day. So it’s not surprising that they also need to be cleaned properly in order to shine in the long term. Different water qualities (limescale) in particular can challenge our taps. However, if basic care tips are followed, impurities no longer stand a chance.
7 Fittings Care instructions:
Do you live in a region with particularly hard water? If so, you may have to deal with limescale deposits time and again. Our tip: Find out whether it would make sense to install a descaling system.
If you have installed your KUNe stainless steel sink outdoors, you should remove the tap (or at least the cartridge) in winter.
The reason: freezing water can damage the fitting.
